At What Age Do Men Become Impotent?
Impotence, or erectile dysfunction, is a common problem in men, often caused by poor lifestyle choices and age. Generally, impotence primarily affects men over the age of 40, with the risk increasing with age. Around 5% of men aged 40 suffer from the condition, rising to 15% of men aged 70. However, there are many other factors that can contribute to impotence, such as stress, anxiety, depression, heart disease, diabetes and high blood pressure, which can affect men of any age. As such, it is important to address any underlying health issues in order to reduce the risk of impotence.
